Introduction
As an instructor, you can add the discussions component to any of your course units to initiate topic-specific discussions.
A discussion component added to a unit will be accessible to all enrolled students both in the unit and in the general discussions tab.
How-to
- Log in to SIT Alemira Studio.
- Navigate to your course.
- Navigate to a unit in your course to which you would like to add a discussion.
- Click Discussion.
- In the added discussion block, click EDIT.
- Provide a name for the discussion in the Display Name field. This is the name that enrolled students will see in the unit.
- Provide a name for the discussion in the Subcategory field. This is the name that enrolled students will see in the general discussions tab.
- Click Save and Publish.
