Adding API based task assessment

As an alternative to assessment scripts, you can configure the assessment criteria for a task using the embedded mechanism of API based assessment.

To add API based criteria for automatic assessment of the task completion by a student:

1. Log in to your SIT Alemira Virtual Lab account.


2. Click Labs.


3. Open the lab for which you need to add assessment criteria.


4. Open a task and a step you need to add the assessment criteria to.


5. Click Add pass criteria manually and then click API based.


6. In the Condition 1 section, specify these parameters:

• 
  Object — select the object to which apply the condition.


• 
  Operator — select the operator to form the expression to check.


• 
  Value — specify the value for the object to check.

7. If you need to add a logical function with more conditions, click AND or OR and specify another condition.
