Enabling taking program courses in any order

If the order for passing courses in a program is strictly set, learners cannot alter it. They must complete all the preceding courses before they start a particular course.

You can enable learners to take courses from a program in any order they like. To do it:

1. Log in to the Discovery Service Administration panel.


2. Open Course metadata > Programs (you can find the menu at https://{tenant}.discovery.alemira.com/admin/course_metadata/program/).


3. In the programs list, click the ID of the program for the edit mode.


4. Scroll down to the Specified order checkbox and clear it.


5. Click Save.
